Oxygen monitoring in the beer and beverage production process
The sensor is designed to determine the dissolved oxygen (DO) in beer and deaerated water.
The M1100 oxygen sensor has an unrivaled accuracy of 0.8ppb and a detection limit of 0.6ppb. Such accurate measurement readings are essential for monitoring low oxygen levels in beer.
The M1100 series sensors use luminescent technology in brewing application. As a result, the sensor does not require replacement of membranes or any electrolytes. In addition, transmitter accuracy is not affected by process changes or pressure surges, further reducing the need for maintenance. Annual maintenance is limited to a few minutes for zero calibration. This process does not require chemicals, making the task easier and safer without compromising measurement accuracy. The M1100-S00 has been designed to provide mechanical strength and resistance to CIP processes to extend its life.
The sensor provides stable readings without drift for 12 months without calibration (using standard weekly CIP processes), outperforming other optical sensors that show significant drift after just a few months when operated under similar conditions.
