Process alkalinity analyzers

The EZ series analyzers are a family of industrial analyzers that use a variety of automated analytical technologies to perform analysis of water quality parameters. For alkalinity measurement, titration technology is used as the most economical, simple and maintenance-free method. Total alkalinity is measured by measuring the amount of acid required to bring a sample to a specified pH endpoint. The result is expressed in mg/L of calcium carbonate (CaCO3). Alkalinity analyzers from Hach Lange are easy to start up and use. Simply connect the sample line, drain line, and reagents, then turn on the analyzer. Typical applications are waste water, drinking water, power generation, surface water.

EZ5000 Series Alkalinity and Hardness Analyzers

The instrument configuration "Total Hardness + Alkalinity" performs a sequence of two different titration methods: acid-base titration with a combination electrode for alkalinity determination and colorimetric titration for hardness determination in a single titration vessel. Combined measurement of two parameters in one analyzer is a convenient solution for operators and eliminates the need for additional space and the purchase of a second analyzer.
