Description of the method for the determination of ammonium by the EZ4005 analyzer
Determination of the concentration of ammonia in water is based on acid-base titration using a pH electrode. The sample is titrated with sodium hydroxide (NaOH). After determining the end point, the ammonia concentration is calculated.
Analysis step-by-step: The analysis vessel is cleaned and filled with fresh sample. After sampling, the initial pH value is measured and corrected with sulfuric acid (H2SO4). Next, titration with sodium hydroxide (NaOH) begins. After determining the end point, the ammonia concentration is calculated.
