Description
The EZ4000 Series analyzers are single parameter titrators built on an industrial analytical platform. High precision dispensers, rugged peristaltic pumps and carefully engineered fluid paths provide the highest performance for industrial and environmental analyzes.
The determination of the concentration of alkalinity in water is based on acid-base titration using a pH electrode. The sample is titrated with hydrochloric acid (HCl). After determining the end point, the alkalinity concentration is calculated.
The analysis vessel is cleaned and filled with fresh sample. After sampling, the initial pH value is measured. Next, titration with hydrochloric acid (HCl) begins. After determining the end point (pH 8.3), the alkalinity concentration is calculated.
