Description of the method [high range]: The AccuVac Ampul for the determination of high concentrations of dissolved oxygen contains a reagent sealed under vacuum in a glass ampoule. When the AccuVac Ampul is opened in a sample containing dissolved oxygen, the solution turns yellow and turns purple.The purple color development is proportional to the concentration of dissolved oxygen.
Fast
Accuvac® ampoules deliver fast results. Immerse the tip of the ampoule into the sample and press gently so that its tip breaks off, the ampoule will be filled with the sample under the action of vacuum and the contents will be mixed. The color of the content is assessed visually or photometrically.
Easy
It is not necessary to measure the amount of sample or reagent. The evacuated ampoules draw the correct sample volume, you get reliable results with minimal effort.
Always accurate results
Optical grade vacuum vials provide accurate measurements and reagent stability. Ampoules are reagent containers and photometric measuring cells.
