Method Description: The Low Range Dissolved Oxygen AccuVac Ampul contains reagent vacuum-sealed in an Ampul. When the AccuVac Ampul is broken open in a sample containing dissolved oxygen, the yellow solution will turn blue. The blue color development is proportional to the concentration of dissolved oxygen. Test results are measured at 610 nm.
Fast
Accuvac® ampoules deliver fast results. Immerse the tip of the ampoule into the sample and press gently so that its tip breaks off, the ampoule will be filled with the sample under the action of vacuum and the contents will be mixed. The color of the content is assessed visually or photometrically.
Easy
It is not necessary to measure the amount of sample or reagent. The evacuated ampoules draw the correct sample volume, you get reliable results with minimal effort.
Always accurate results
Optical grade vacuum vials provide accurate measurements and reagent stability. Ampoules are reagent containers and photometric measuring cells.
