Description

Applications: waste water, purified and seawater.
Method description [8021]: Chlorine in the sample as hypochlorous acid or hypochlorite ion (free chlorine or free available chlorine) immediately reacts with the DPD indicator (N, N diethyl-p-phenylenediamine) to form a pink color, the intensity of which is proportional chlorine concentration. The measurement wavelength is 530 nm for spectrophotometers or 520 nm for colorimeters.
Fast
Accuvac® ampoules deliver fast results. Immerse the tip of the ampoule into the sample and press gently so that its tip breaks off, the ampoule will be filled with the sample under the action of vacuum and the contents will be mixed. The color of the content is assessed visually or photometrically.
Easy
It is not necessary to measure the amount of sample or reagent. The evacuated ampoules draw the correct sample volume, you get reliable results with minimal effort.
Always accurate results
Optical grade vacuum vials provide accurate measurements and reagent stability. Ampoules are reagent containers and photometric measuring cells.
