Stakpure's OmniaTap UV/UV is an all-in-one laboratory water treatment system with a pre-treatment cartridge with built-in reverse osmosis, UV unit, ultrafiltration module and intermittent water recirculation tank.
The degree of water purity according to the ASTM D1193-06 (2011) standard, which sets more stringent requirements and covers more indicators than GOST 52501-2005 (ISO 3696:1987).
Thanks to the pre-treatment cartridge, the device can be connected to a tap water source. The pump pumps water through a cartridge in which most of the salts and microorganisms are removed. The water then passes through a UV reactor where it is disinfected with UV light. Then it enters the cartridge, which removes the remaining ions. To remove as much non-ionized compounds as possible, the water passes through an ultrafiltration module (OmniaTap UV/UF only). The quality control of ultrapure water is carried out using a temperature-compensated conductometer. The measured values for conductivity as well as temperatures are shown on the display of the automatic OptiFill ultrapure water dispenser.
The treated water first fills the built-in 10 liter tank up to the maximum filling level. When the tank is completely filled, no further treatment of the feed water takes place. To maintain a consistently high quality of treated water, it is periodically pumped out of the tank, through the cartridge, UV reactor and ultrafiltration module, and then sent back to the tank.
The water in the tank is ASTM type 2. For ultrapure water (ASTM type1), the OptiFill Dispenser (included as standard) must be used. It is operated with one hand, is removable, can be rotated and adjusted in height. The presence of a flexible connection provides easy pouring of water into containers of any type. When water is supplied by the OptiFill dispenser, it passes through a sterile filter which serves as the final purification step.
