Stakpure's OmniaTap UV series systems use several treatment technologies to produce clean and ultrapure water:
- the pump pumps the feed water through a pre-treatment cartridge with a built-in reverse osmosis module. Pre-treatment removes most of the salts, bacteria and other substances from the feed water.
- at the next stage, the water passes through the UV reactor, where it is disinfected using UV radiation.
- the water then passes through a filter cartridge which removes the remaining ions.
- purified water fills the built-in 10 liter tank.
- to maintain Type 2 (ASTM) water quality characteristics, the water in the tank is cycled periodically through an ultrapure cartridge and UV reactor using a recirculation system.
- when the water is supplied by the OptiFill dispenser, it passes through a sterile filter as the final purification step, thus providing the user with type 1 ultrapure water (ASTM).
The produced ultrapure water meets the current requirements of ASTM, ISO, GOST, USP and CLSI standards.
