Scope of delivery: turbidity / suspended solids probe with 10 meter cable, user manual.

The sensor is 315 mm long and 60 mm in diameter. The maximum flow velocity is 3 m/s (the presence of air bubbles affects the measurement).

Sensor cables of various lengths are available upon request. The maximum cable length from the controller to the sensor is 100 meters. The sensor is used in conjunction with digital controllers Hach.

Description

Measurement of turbidity according to DIN EN 27027 and suspended solids according to DIN 37414

Hach Solitax sc sensors provide accurate, color-independent measurement of turbidity and suspended solids in drinking water and wastewater. Self-cleaning device (wiper) prevents biological growth and the ingress of gas bubbles. The reliable operation of this system and the possibility of complete data transfer help improve process control.

Excellent correlation with laboratory analysis

Solitax sc sensors show exceptional correlation with laboratory analysis. Real-time measurements not only save manual analysis time, but also provide important real-time measurements that can be used to more efficiently operate the installation.

Fully serviceable sensors

Solitax sc sensors are fully serviceable, which often doubles their lifespan.

Simple one-point calibration

Factory calibrated according to DIN EN ISO 7027 to ensure long term calibration stability. Calibration is performed using a simple factor correction procedure.

Multi-channel, multi-parameter system

Several Solitax sc sensors can be installed on one Hach SC controller. The same controller can also support any combination of parameters. All sc Hach probes are "plug and play" and require no complicated wiring or configuration.

The measuring principle is based on a combined infrared absorption scattered light technique that measures the lowest turbidity values in accordance with DIN EN 27027 just as precisely and continuously as high sludge content. Using this method, the light scattered sideways by the turbidity particles is measured over an angle of 90°. The measurement data is displayed and processed with the help of a controller. The sensor is for pipe use only.
