Method description: Chlorine dioxide (ClO2) combines with chlorophenol red at pH 5.2 to form a colorless complex. The resulting color reduction is proportional to the chlorine dioxide concentration. This method is specific for ClO 2 and does not react with other active chlorine compounds or mild oxidants. Measurement wavelength 575.
