Description

The sensor dots are shipped in light-tight packaging to ensure long shelf life, so do not open this packaging immediately upon delivery. It is recommended to unpack them immediately before use.

Non-invasive oxygen measurement with the SP-PSt3-NAU optical point

The optical point has a red side (back) and a black side (front). The red side of the dot can be attached to the inner surface of any transparent glass or plastic container, such as a flask, test tube, Petri dish, etc. Oxygen is measured in a non-contact and non-destructive manner through the transparent vessel wall.

The oxygen sensitive coating is immobilized on a flexible transparent polyester foil with a thickness of 125 µm, which does not withstand autoclaving.

Additional equipment required for measurements (not included in the package): optical oxygen meter (for example Fibox 4 trace), glue, vacuum tweezers, tweezers, laboratory spatula, pipette dispenser.
