Corrugated PTFE hose has increased flexibility and a high level of resistance to chemicals. Highly resilient suction and delivery hoses are available in two variations: type C (white tube) and CA (black tube, electrically conductive).

These sleeves are used in the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries. At the same time, type CA hoses with a black conductive tube can be used even in hazardous areas.

Description

Marsoflex PTFE corrugated hose has very high flexibility and amazing resistance to chemicals, acids, steam, pharmaceuticals or solvents. Thanks to these characteristics, the range of applications for type C and CA (electrically conductive) hoses is almost limitless.

The key difference between type C and CA hoses is electrical conductivity. The one that features a black tube (CA) can be used in hazardous areas. Meanwhile, type C hoses are exposed to a small number of chemicals. The few substances that corrode their inner layer are: chlorine trifluoride, dry fluorine gas +150 °C, oxygen difluoride, phosgene and alkali metals such as sodium.

The uniform crimp of these hoses provides greater flexibility and better resistance than common hoses. The anti-sticking property of PTFE guarantees smooth pumping of substances. The smooth inner surface of the hose prevents the formation of microbiological contamination. The inner layer of the hose is easy to clean after use.

PTFE hoses are FDA compliant and can be used in the food industry. They are phthalate free and tested in accordance with the regulation 1907/2006/EU (REACH) that regulates the production and circulation of all chemicals. In addition, Marsoflex Corrugated Hose is USP XXXVI Class VI compliant, non-cytotoxic per ISO 10993 (Section 5:2009).
