Description
The DR 6000 is a UV-VIS spectrophotometer with a wavelength range of 190 to 1100 nm. The visible (VIS) spectrum (320 to 1100 nm) is covered by a halogen lamp, while the deuterium lamp emits light in the ultraviolet (UV) spectrum (190 to 360 nm). Spectrophotometer DR 6000 contains the following programs and operating modes:

The instrument provides digital readings for concentration, absorbance, and percent transmittance. When choosing a custom or programmed method, menus and prompts guide the user from start to end of analysis. The menu system can also generate reports, statistical evaluations of generated calibration curves, and diagnostic test reports for the instrument.
The DR6000 Hach is preprogrammed for 240 methods, including TOC, surfactants, COD, ammonia and other marker parameters for the quality of various solutions. Application packages such as enzymology and colorimetry open up additional possibilities including drinking water analysis and brewing analysis. With a combination of fast scanning and easy integration, the DR 6000 enables laboratories to operate at peak efficiency.
Intuitive menu navigation with a 7-inch color touchscreen allows you to enter and calibrate your own methods in just a few simple steps. The color display allows you to instantly identify alerts and easily compare overlay graphics. The touchscreen interface is intuitive, minimizing the need to refer to the user manual.

When used with LCK cuvette tests, the DR6000 spectrophotometer provides accurate results, with step-by-step instructions for performing analysis according to the parameter being measured. When using the LCK cuvette tests, the instrument averages 10 readings, thereby eliminating outliers and errors that arise from scratches, defects or contamination on the laboratory glassware.
