Description
Reagent kit LCK228 for the determination of potassium from the manufacturer Hach. The cuvette test is easy to use and photometric assessment, packed in a box with instructions.
Application: For raw and drinking water, waste water, soil, substrates, nutrient solutions and process analysis.
Description of the method: Potassium ions react in an alkaline solution with calignost with the formation of a poorly soluble precipitate of potassium tetraphenylborate. The resulting turbidity is measured photometrically.
The intensity of the turbidity depends on many factors (temperature, time, concentration, solvents, bacterial activity and pH value) and, therefore, can vary significantly, the accuracy of the test is about ± 1.5 mg / l.
Note! Reagent B is extremely sensitive to moisture. Only open the Reagent B bottle for a short time. Always keep the spoon dry.
