AN-ISE sc immersion ammonium and nitrate ion-selective probe

Description

The AN-ISE sc sensor is specially designed for waste water analysis. The sensor uses ion selective electrode technology (ISE) - these electrodes have a special membrane that is sensitive only to a certain type of ion.

The AN-ISE sc is designed to be immersed directly in aeration tanks (aerotanks), which eliminates the need for reagents and sample preparation. The sensor can be easily installed outdoors without additional protective housings, so it can be easily moved between different locations.

The only replacement part is the sensor cartridge (order number LZY694) and is usually replaced every 12 months. The cartridge consists of ion-selective electrodes for ammonium, potassium (compensation electrode for ammonium), nitrate and chloride (compensation electrode for nitrate), a pH reference system and a temperature sensor. Compensation allows the sensor to provide accurate and reliable results.

The Cartrical ™ cartridge eliminates the need to handle and adjust individual electrodes as it contains four electrodes that are factory calibrated relative to each other, reducing cross-sensitivity. Replacing the cartridge is simple: unscrew the old cartridge, insert the new one, and the sensor is ready to measure again. Factory calibration is automatically detected after cartridge replacement using built-in RFID technology. The reference system is designed using differential pH technology and is therefore particularly resistant to drift and all kinds of contamination.

The measuring system can be expanded with an optional automatic cleaning unit with compressor (item LZY706).

The AN-ISE sc combi sensor is very easy to use thanks to menu-driven operation and step-by-step instructions. For display and control, it connects to any Hach SC series controller (see Accessories) without complicated connection or setup procedures. The common SC controller platform allows not only the ammonium and nitrate sensor to be used in parallel, but also other parameters such as pH, dissolved oxygen, etc.
