Description
The LuminUltra Water (QGA) test kit is based on ATP measurement and is designed for low solids and low biomass applications. The speed and portability of this test kit allows tests to be carried out from many points in a water treatment or distribution system in a short time. Real-time detection of elevated microbial growth levels can indicate the need for routine checkup or a serious risk to consumers or infrastructure.
The QGA-100C ATP Test can be used on any water supply system including drinking water, raw water, cooling water, and ballast water. Save time with on-site testing in addition to other more time-consuming measurement methods. The QGA test kit is compatible with the PhotonMaster luminometer and LuminUltra data acquisition and interpretation software.
- Conforms to ASTM D4012 standard.
- Measure only live biomass.
- Results are available in less than 5 minutes.
- Low detection limit of nominally 0.1 pg/ml (100 microbial equivalents per ml), simple test modifications can provide even greater sensitivity.
- Interference such as turbidity, salinity, color, residual chemicals and other characteristics inherent in samples are minimal.
* All materials are stable for two years at room temperature.
* Luminase formulations generally last 4 to 6 months after rehydration when refrigerated.
LuminUltra's QGA ATP tests are designed in accordance with ASTM D4012. This test is used to monitor microbiological activity in the following areas: municipal drinking water systems, irrigation water (agriculture), water systems, swimming pool water, hot tubs, spas, healthcare facilities, cooling systems, and ballast water storage. Instructions for interpreting the results are included with each test to ensure quick and accurate results.
