Description

Packaged powder reagents Powder Pillows UniVer 3 (96299) from Hach. The Powder Pillows UniVer 3 Indicator / Buffer is intended for use with test kits and Hach handheld digital titrator for total hardness determination.

Powder Pillows reagent pouches are hermetically sealed in foil pouches for a long shelf life.

Procedure:

1. Fill the measuring tube with sample.

2. Pour the sample into the mixing bottle.

3. Add one UniVer 3 Hardness Reagent Powder Pillow. Turn the bottle left and right to mix. A pink color develops.

4. Add the Hardness 3 Titrant Solution by drops. Mix after eachdrop. Count the drops until the color changes from pink to blue.

5. Multiply the total number of drops by 20 to get the result in mg/L.
