LuminUltra's Deposit & Surface Analysis (DSA) test kit provides real-time measurement of total attached biomass using 2nd generation ATP technology. DSA can be used on any surface, medium or sediment, including biofilms, slimes and biologically active filters. Save time with on-site testing and microbiological remediation in addition to existing measurement methods. The DSA test kit works with the PhotonMaster luminometer and software for seamless data collection and interpretation.
By forming and colonizing biofilms on the walls and surfaces of pipes, microorganisms can survive biocide treatments (chemicals that destroy aquatic bacteria) and accelerate corrosion, causing premature equipment failure. Biofilm detection and timely response reduces maintenance and replacement costs. The DSA test kit is one of the few methods on the market that provides a direct measurement of attached biomass, making it the first line of defense against biofilm build-up!
The 2nd generation technology is a significant improvement over previous ATP tests. The DSA test kit is specially designed to determine the total biomass attached to any surface in real time. Determining and controlling attached biomass is the most reliable way to minimize the risks of microbial contamination such as fouling or corrosion.
The DSA Test Kit provides results in 5 minutes and anyone can easily complete it using the included step-by-step instructions. All reagents are stable for at least one year and can be used in the laboratory or in the field. Speed and portability allow you to test multiple points in any process in a short amount of time.
