Reagent kit for the determination of Iron traces from Hach. The LCK521 cuvette test is easy to use and photometric assessment, packed in a box with instructions. According to standard: ISO 6332-1988, DIN 38406 E1-1.
Application: For drinking water, raw water, swimming-pool water, wastewater and process analysis.
Summary of method: Iron(II) ions form an orange-red complex with 1.10-phenanthroline. Any iron(III) ions present in the water sample are reduced to iron(II) ions by ascorbic acid before the complex is formed.
Special Notes: For total Iron digestion use Crack Set LCW902.
