Applications: For chloride-containing wastewater, seawater, surface water and process analysis with a chloride concentration of 1.0–20 g / l. For lower chloride concentrations use reagent LCK114.
Brief summary of the method: Oxidized substances react with sulfuric acid and a solution of potassium dichromate in the presence of silver sulfate as a catalyst. Chloride is masked by mercury sulfate. The green coloration of Cr3 + is evaluated.
