Sodium Hydroxide Digital Titrator Cartridge, 1,600 N
Availability: Order only
Ready-to-use titrant solution for acid-base titration (1-10 meq / L acid) and acidity determination (1 - 4000 mg / L CaCO3).
Titrant: 1,600 N NaOH.
Digital titrator cartridge, sodium hydroxide, for acidity determination (1437901) from Hach. Suitable for use with test kits and the Hach digital manual titrator.
Accuracy of results
Digital titrator methods use a high-precision dosing device and concentrated titrant cartridges to allow analysis both in the laboratory and in the field.
Replaceable cartridges allow you to quickly change titrants.
More than 50 parameter / range combinations available.
Concentrated titrants allow 40 to 100 tests (titrations) per cartridge.
Procedure: A phenolphthalein indicator is added to the sample. For acid determinations, the sample is titrated with a sodium hydroxide standard solution until the indicator changes color at the endpoint pH of 8.3. For base determinations, the sample is titrated with a sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid standard solution until the indicator changes color at the endpoint pH of 8.3. The quantity of titrant used is directly proportional to the milliequivalents of acid or base in the sample.
