Description

Kemtrak DCP007 is an industrial fiber optic photometer. Its main function is to accurately measure concentrations and determine the color of various process samples. Measurements are carried out continuously in real time directly in the production line, allowing a quick response to process changes.

The photometer is equipped with a high performance LED light source with durable fiber optics for accurate measurements without drift or interference. Fiber optics are ideal for use in explosive environments as they only allow ultra-low power cold light to pass through.

The unique measurement technique and advanced digital electronics design allow the determination of optical density up to 5 AU. Optionally, the optical path length can be changed to extend the measuring range.

The two-wavelength optical design of the photometer compensates for the effect of turbidity of the sample and clogging of the optical windows on the measurement results, ensuring trouble-free operation.

Kemtrak industrial measuring cells are tailor-made to your application from the highest quality materials and designed to the most stringent requirements, guaranteeing a long service life and the highest reliability. The operating conditions depend on the materials and construction used. They do not contain electronics, moving parts or heat sources that could cause condensation to form on the inner surfaces of the measuring cell.

The optional Kemtrak EX-D3 Protective Housing for 007 Series Photometers allows the analyzer to be used in potentially explosive atmospheres. There is a TR CU certificate for work in explosion-proof areas.

The Kemtrak DCP007 VIS Color and Concentration Analyzer consists of three components:

Control box: contains all electronics including light source and detectors.

Measuring cell: reliable in-line connection to the process / production line. Sapphire cell windows are scratch resistant.

Fiber optic: An industrial grade fiber optic node connects the control unit to the flow measuring cell. Transmits cold light to and from the measuring cell.
