Description
Packaged Powder Pillows reagents (2603700) for the determination of Aluminum from Hach. Used for water analysis. The reagents are hermetically sealed in foil sachets, which provides them with a long shelf life. The reagent is simply poured into the measuring cuvette along with the sample. The analysis is carried out visually, for example using a color disc or with a HACH LANGE photometer.

Summary of method: Eriochrome Cyanine R reacts with aluminum in a sample to show an orange-red color. The intensity of color is proportional to the aluminum concentration. The measurement wavelength is 535 nm.
