The one-parameter model CD-DT is compatible with the Hach digital titrator and mercury nitrate titration cartridges for chloride determination.
The test kit includes:

Summary of Method: When using Mercuric Nitrate Standard Solution, the sample is titrated under acid conditions in the presence of diphenylcarbazone indicator. Upon addition of a slight excess of mercuric ion, a pink-purple complex is formed with the indicator, signaling the end point.
