Tannin and Lignin are a group of phenolic compounds of plant origin, measured in mg/L tannic acid. Tannin is found in natural waters and used in water purification, boilers and cooling towers, ink production, tanning and paper sizing. Lignin - found in waste paper pulp production.
This method for determining of tannin / lignin by using a color disc is inexpensive and provides the most accurate results on visual analysis.
