Features:
- To reduce extractables for the resist filtration process in semiconductors, the equipment material was changed from PP to HDPE.
- Available pore sizes: 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0 and 3.0 μm. They are suitable for microfiltration chemical applications as well as pre-filtration for nanofilters.
- PTFE diaphragms are surfactant free and seals are heat welded to ensure cleanliness.
- All products undergo quality control using the integrity check method.
- The PTFE diaphragm is hydrophobic and is not intended for use with liquids with a surface tension of ≥ 32 mN.
Pre-moistening the membrane with isopropyl or ethyl alcohol will filter out aqueous solutions.
The plastic housing of the cartridge can deteriorate over time, especially prolonged exposure to liquids containing oxides such as bleach can also degrade the quality of the filter and the supporting medium. Conditions such as temperature, pressure, and fluid being filtered can affect wear levels. Regular replacement is recommended.
