Description
LCK714 - reagent kit for determination of COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) in the range of 100 - 600 mg / l O2. Complies with ISO 6060-1989, DIN 38409-H41-H44 standards. The cuvette tests are compatible with Hach DR series spectrophotometers.
Application: waste water, process analysis and soil analysis.
Method description: Oxidized substances react with sulfuric acid and potassium dichromate solution in the presence of silver sulfate as a catalyst. Chloride is masked by mercury sulfate. The green coloration of Cr3 + is evaluated.
