Description
LCK1014 - reagent kit for the determination of COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) in the range of 100 - 2000 mg / l O2. Complies with ISO 6060-1989, DIN 38409-H41-H44 standards. The cuvette tests are compatible with Hach DR series spectrophotometers.
Applications: wastewater analysis, process analysis.
Method description: Oxidized substances react with sulfuric acid and potassium dichromate solution in the presence of silver sulfate as a catalyst. Chloride is masked by mercury sulfate. The green coloration of Cr3 + is evaluated.
The method can be used for samples (or diluted samples) with chloride concentrations up to 4000 mg / L.
Storage temperature: 15-25 ° C (59-77 ° F)
Note: For optimum stability, it is recommended to refrigerate the cuvette test until the expiration date. Protect from light.
