Description

The NucleoCounter® NC-250 ™ is an integrated fluorescence microscope with two fluorescence channels for detecting signals from cells stained with fluorescent dyes.

The analyzer quickly and easily performs multiple viability determinations and cell counts, processing up to 8 samples in a single run.

Cell counting

Thanks to the versatility of the NucleoCounter® NC-250 ™, counting and determining the viability of mammalian cells has never been easier. Simply mix a small volume of cell suspension with fluorescent dyes, load the sample, and run the analyzer. Within 3 minutes, you will have 8 highly accurate cell viability and cell counts.

With the NC-250 ™, 8 counts and viability analyzes can be performed in less than 3 minutes. Add only 10 μL of the mixture of cell suspension and fluorescent dyes to the chambers of the A8 slides. For cells with a low concentration or for even higher accuracy, A2 slides can be used, to which 30 μL of the cell mixture is added.

Analysis results presentation and data management

The connection between images and graphs showing fluorescence intensity allows accurate quantification - for both total and dead cell populations.

The NucleoCounter® NC-250 ™ Viability Assay is an extremely fast and easy assay for assessing cell health, oxidative stress and detection of late stage apoptosis. VitaBright 48 ™ fluorescent dye detects reduced thiols such as glutathione. In the late stage of apoptosis, the level of reduced thiols decreases, which leads to a decrease in the intensity of VitaBright 48 ™. With the accompanying user-friendly NC-250 ™ software, advanced data analysis can be easily performed. The unique ability to link images, histograms and scatterplots allows for detailed and accurate analysis of the data obtained.
