Description
In the production of soft drinks, sugar control is of paramount importance, therefore measuring and evaluating its content in beverages is an important step in the production process.
BRIX MONITOR is specially designed for the determination of sugar concentration in juices and soft drinks. The device makes measurements on the Brix scale. This scale is used to calculate both the concentration and the density of sucrose solutions. The Brix scale is used in the beverage, juice, and food processing industries.
The instrument uses RHOTEC (density measurement) or SONATEC (sound velocity measurement) functions and is designed for applications requiring maximum sensitivity and highest accuracy. Any temperature deviations in the measured signal are automatically compensated for by an internal Pt1000 sensor.
