Oxygen meters

Laboratory or portable oxygen meters are used to measure dissolved oxygen in water and other solutions. Their purpose is to determine the saturation of a solution with oxygen or biological oxygen demand (BOD), an indicator of the biodegradable material in the sample. Dissolved oxygen meters work in conjunction with LDO Intellical fluorescent optical sensors to measure the amount of oxygen gas dissolved in a water sample. Dissolved oxygen is an important water quality parameter that affects marine life, the taste of drinking water and the corrosivity of the water sample. Applications include analysis of groundwater, wastewater, aquariums and fish farms. Both individual devices and devices complete with sensors with cables of various lengths from 1 to 30 meters are available to order.
