HI98308 Pocket water quality tester (conductivity)

Description

The HI98308 Pure Water Tester is a rugged and reliable pocket tester that provides fast, accurate readings. The HI98308 tester is equipped with graphite electrodes to reduce the effect of polarization and an open temperature sensor for fast response when compensating for temperature changes. Manual calibration is performed at one point.

The HI98308 is equipped with an amperometric graphite electrode, which provides better measurement repeatability because it does not oxidize. The HI98308 tester uses a conductometric measurement method, thereby allowing you to check the purity of distilled or demineralized water in laboratory or industrial conditions. The rugged housing provides superior protection against harsh industrial environments.

The Pocket Conductivity Meter is equipped with a BEPS (Battery Error Prevention System) that prevents any erroneous readings due to low batteries by automatically shutting down the meter.

Conductivity measurements can be used to obtain additional indicators of water quality - TDS, salinity.
