Color measurement with LICO 620
Determination of the color of clear liquids is indispensable in many areas and serves as a method for ensuring the quality of solvents, paints and pharmaceuticals. The LICO 620 HACH colorimeter determines the chromaticity on five scales:
- Iodine scale
- Gardner scale
- Platinum-Cobalt (Pt Cb) / Hazen / APHA Scale
- Saybolt scale ASTM D 156
- Scale ASTM D 1500
The LICO 620 is designed for fast, routine measurements in laboratories and in production. It can be used in a wide variety of quality control applications in the chemical industry such as evaluating surfactants, oils, fats, resins, and synthetic resins.
The LICO 620 is a spectral VIS photometer with a wavelength range of 380 to 720 nm. The instrument performs an accurate colorimetric analysis in accordance with ISO / ASTM standards in one measurement and displays the result according to the classic color scales: iodine scale, Hazen scale or Gardner scale. The memory capacity is enough to store 400 readings. Easy to integrate into existing laboratory networks via Ethernet.
