Description
The most widely used disinfector of drinking water, chlorine, is also important in sanitazing swimming pools, cooling towers, other industrial equipment and municipal wastewater treatment.
Measuring and monitoring the chlorine level is vitally important both from the safety and economic points of view.
Chlorine in water is available in two forms: free chlorine (hypochlorite) and combined (chloramine).
The total chlorine test helps to identify both forms. With Hach Water Quality test stripes technicians in the field have possibility to test many samples in a few minutes and to make immediate evaluations on-site.
No measuring, set-up, clean-up or chemical handling are necessary.
Hach test stripes are used in laboratories all over the world for pre-screening tests to identify the presence of materials that might interfere with lab testing.
Test stripes are individually wrapped to provide maximum portability and stability.
