Description
The SST-3 device is designed to test the tightness of the closing of glass, tin, plastic cans and bottles using threaded aluminum caps, crown caps, plastic caps.
The tightness is assessed by immersing the container in water and pressurizing it. The presence of a leak is indicated by air bubbles from under the cover. These bubbles are easily visible to the instrument operator. The ability to trace gas leaks versus liquid leaks maximizes test sensitivity.
The pressure of the gas injected into the test vessel is controlled by means of a regulator and a flow control valve. The pressure build-up time up to 1 MPa is adjustable in the range of 5-60 seconds. The gas flow control allows the user to determine the maximum pressure that a container with a lid can withstand before a leak occurs.
Effective leakage prevention is possible thanks to the CND-SST-3 tester, which has excellent performance.
