Description
Description
ABER yeast sensors are recognized as the most accurate and reliable online live cell measurement today, and this technology allows brewing groups such as AB InBev, SAB Miller, Heineken, Suntory and Diageo to have more consistent fermentation processes. Several breweries have also managed to improve the quality of the yeast or shorten the fermentation time.
The new "compact"yeast sensors can directly communicate with a dedicated color touchscreen transmitter display for calibration and adjustment, and yeast concentration and conductivity are provided as 4-20mA outputs.
The "Compact" series can handle up to 20 different yeast strains and has an easier calibration procedure than previous models.
"Compact" yeast sensors are designed for real-time use with live yeast concentrations up to 70% viable solids. The system is virtually maintenance free and has a replaceable probe with platinum “flush” electrodes that can be regularly cleaned in place (CIP) or steam sterilized.
